Launched in 2008, the Badu sofa has undergone many improvements. The number of available module variants has also increased. Badu has changed as our knowledge of customer needs has developed, along with the evolving functions and sizes of leisure spaces, the lifestyles of our customers and the challenges of individual markets and types of spaces. However, one feature remains unchanged – harmonious aesthetics. Thanks to well-balanced proportions and the ability to scale the size, this unobtrusive design adapts to almost any interior.

Badu is a unique modular sofa in terms of configuration options, allowing you to adjust its dimensions to almost any interior. The ability to personalize a product goes much further. We can choose from two backrest heights and two seat depths. The final expression of the product depends on the creativity and needs of the user. There are three armrest widths to choose from. The modules can be prepared in a free-standing version or for connecting in sequences. The furniture can be permanently attached or function as individual elements, connected occasionally.

When creating BADU, the basic design assumption – apart from functionality resulting from the freedom of composing elements – was exceptional comfort, which was achieved thanks to the use of several layers of foam in the seat and backrest. The materials used had a decisive influence on the perfect final effect – natural, soft feathers combined with a layer of modern visco foam that adapts to the shape of the sitting person’s body (memory foam). Fully synthetic filling is also available as an option. It allows you to enjoy the excellent qualities of the furniture without the use of materials of animal origin. The advantage of the synthetic version is also greater control over the appearance of the seat – it does not require regular shaking, which in the case of half-down is necessary for the proper functioning of the comfort zones. This is important in public or office spaces or when we have less time for such activities and just want to laze freely on the couch.

Badu has loose backrest cushions, and the modules can be fastened with clasps or left loose, but you should specify your choice when placing the order.

The sofa is equipped with plastic glides. If the customer so requests, we can of course make the fillings flame retardant. In addition to seating modules in many sizes, there are corner modules and a whole range of poufs that serve as free-standing seats, which can be added to the function of a chaise longue, or to extend the seat or sofa.
