It owes its luxury character to consistently developed details and featured combinations of materials, which made it possible to achieve a unique effect in such a popular category of furniture. However, as in the majority of designs, it is the details that determine the final shape and beauty of the product. Embarking on our work on the Gnu chair, we sought to create an item of furniture that would become synonymous with contemporary luxury and to equip it with features that would make it stand out against the background of the abundant market offer. We wanted Gnu to become a showcase of craftsmanship mastery, which we seek to cultivate alongside our collaborating studios and manufacturers. Our intention was to create a chair that would refer to the old school of designing furniture that lasts for generations, durable, solid, easy to preserve – furniture whose longevity and individual traits acquire a symbolic value, accompanying our everyday lives.
